I would like to introduce myself as Dr Rashmi S Shenoy. I am writing for a suitable research position in your reputed laboratory. I pursued my Post- Doctoral studies from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India under the supervision of Dr. Namratha Gundaih at Biomechanics laboratory. I was part of a DBT funded project entitled “Mechanobiology of tissue fibrosis”. The study focused on collagen quantification of fibrotic tissues like porcine aorta and rat tail tendons using colorimetric and HPLC techniques.
I have rich experience in some of the cell and molecular biology techniques like handling mammalian cell lines (pancreatic beta, adipocyte and skeletal muscle cell lines), molecular tools like RT-PCR, cell based immunoassays and dissacharidases inhibition assays. I have the ability to work independently in scientific research investigations sciences and very passionate about teaching.
Currently I am working as Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology at BMS college of engineering, Bangalore, India.
