Start learning English on a more professional level

I have a BA degree in Philology which is the study of development and relationships between languages. I’ve been teaching English for more than 5 years. I have taught both adults and young learners. I have experience in many aspects of teaching that ranges from basic phonics and elementary grammar to advanced conversation. I am passionate about culture and enjoy experiencing different cultures and places. I have used English teaching as a way to move around the world and follow my passion for culture and teaching. While I was in China, I taught English in two universities and three primary schools. Currently I am in Europe, teaching private students from the USA, China and Europe online. In the past year, I have taught online classes to both groups and one-on-one students. As I teach, I want two things to happen – first I want students to enjoy the experience of learning, second I want them to gain confidence and not be afraid to speak. To do this, I show the students respect and meet them where they are. One of the great things about one-on-one classes, you can keep everything at the right level so it isn’t too hard but is challenging enough to keep making progress. My classes are mostly student-centered which Improves the students participation, develops retention of knowledge. and boosts performance at work. As for group classes, every organization wants to get the maximum benefit from its learning initiatives. A key element of any successful learning program is to keep the learners engaged in the course.
