I'm Jessica, a native English speaker from Ireland who has a Master's Degree in Education. I'm a passionate teacher who is CELTA, TEFL, and TOEFL qualified, and I have spent the last 6 years teaching English! I spent 3 years teaching English in Ireland to teenagers of all levels. After this, I moved to Barcelona for 2 years where I taught business English to companies such as BMW and Vueling. I now work in Geneva, Switzerland where I teach Cambridge English to students of all ages and abilities, here I give regular examinations both orally and written. From these varied experiences, I've learned many things, including the importance of giving my students confidence in the language. My teaching methodologies are diverse as I understand the importance of tailoring the lessons to each student's individual needs. I am very open to student's feedback and will regularly check in with students about the effectiveness of my methods. My approach is generally one of positivity and creativity as I aim to make my students feel as comfortable and optimistic as possible. I prioritize consistency in my student's progression and will always create specific learning goals and targets for each lesson.
