Professeur de français (FLE)

I have been a language Teacher for over 15 years. I have taught all ages and in private and public institutions. I am fluent in French, English, creole and Spanish and i am aspiring to learn fluent German at the moment. I have a Bachelor's degree in modern languages and have taught at primary and secondary school levels. I like discovering, sharing and communicating in different languages and cultures. I am a pleasant, friendly and flexible individual. However, i am also very disciplined, motivated and goal driven. I have proven to be very effective with my past students especially those who are also disciplined, motivated and have a strong drive to achieve. I aim at making language learning interesting. I like bringing real life situations into the classroom and address the areas where the students feel they are lacking the most. I prefer interaction, role playing instead of just being a tutor. I like the use of colours, songs, poems and games in French wether they are created in the classroom or introduced into it. In the case of a group lesson, I attempt to help bring each person’s performance on the desired level. Questions are always encouraged and listened too and responses will be as accurate as possible. To me, teaching is a relationship between the two parties, where one person who is more knowledgeable in the subject area serves as a guide and support for the learner. I believe in efficient preparation in order to reach one's goal.
