I am a lover and a student of languages first and foremost. I believe in education and that learning new skills is the key to personal and professional success and growth. As we live in an ever growing multicultural society, learning a new language is not only a desired, but a vital skill, and I pride myself on delivering high level of teaching tailored to my students' needs, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. As a young French national, the qualities I can bring to my students are an excellent and deep understanding of the French language and culture, a high level of dynamism, and high expectations towards my students’ work. I also have an excellent knowledge and understanding of the Spanish language. As such, I was in charge of the Spanish department and teaching the subject to A-level (UK examinations), GCSE and International Baccalaureate students at Bexhill College, UK with a track of excellent results. As I strive to constantly keep challenging myself and learning new skills, I learnt German and Italian (which I continue learning), both of which I can confidently teach at GCSE level. My experience in the secondary school system and further education, as well as teaching adults, has given me a deep insight into the requirements and experience needed to teach languages, and a real understanding of students’ strengths and difficulties, and of how we can best help them to be successful. Throughout my career I have focused on catering to the needs of students of all backgrounds and skill levels. It is the same determination that has led me to teach in the UK and the USA, children as well as adults, introduction courses as well as specialized Business related language. Learning languages should be fun and rewarding. I cannot think of a better feeling than being able to communicate in a different language and the sense of achievement and fulfillment that it brings. It is that sense of empowerment that I make a priority in bringing my students.
