I am from the United States, and I have a background in Chemical and Optical Engineering. I am currently studying to become a Perfumer.

I have been a private tutor for the past 3 years, helping students master subjects that they are struggling with. My method involves building from the basics, and specializing further and further as is required, based on my students' needs. I work with students in Elementary school up until the University level.

For example, I would start with a simple formula like Snell's law ( n1 sin(theta1) = n2 sin(theta2) ), and then move to ray diagrams, followed by multi lens structures. I believe a strong foundation is necessary in order to understand more complicated areas in any subject matter.

I offer similar approaches in chemistry and mathematics, as well as a tailored lesson about how to write a proper resume/CV, for both the United States and France. Beyond the skills necessary to succeed in a scientific field, I feel that it is imperative that a student is aware of how to demonstrate that to a future employer.

All of my lessons are specific to my individual students, and I start with a consultation in order to gauge the pace that they should be working at. This consultation, as well as all future lessons, would take place online via Google Meets or Zoom. My lesson times are limited to 1 Hour.
