Ali Ihsan

Hello! My name is Ali Ihsan, and I am an English teacher with an academic background in English Language Teaching and Philology. I graduated from the English Language Teaching program at Balikesir University, where I developed strong knowledge of language teaching methodology, communication-focused instruction, and student-centered learning. During my studies, I also participated in the Erasmus+ program at Vilnius University in Lithuania, where I studied Philology. This experience allowed me to deepen my understanding of language, linguistics, and intercultural communication.

I have experience teaching students from different age groups and backgrounds, including middle school students, high school students, university students, and adult learners. I have also organized and led speaking clubs where learners practiced English through discussions, debates, and interactive activities. These experiences helped me understand that the most effective way to learn a language is through active communication and meaningful interaction.

My lessons are interactive, practical, and focused on real-life communication. I usually start classes with a warm-up conversation to help students feel comfortable speaking. Then we work on vocabulary, grammar, or useful expressions depending on the student’s level and goals. After that, we practice speaking through discussions, role-plays, problem-solving activities, and real-life scenarios. I believe that students improve faster when they actively use the language rather than only studying theory.

I adapt each lesson according to the student’s needs and goals. Some students want to improve their speaking confidence, others want to prepare for exams or interviews, and many professionals want to communicate more effectively in international environments. I also enjoy helping students improve their fluency, pronunciation, and communication skills for academic or professional purposes.

My goal as a teacher is to create a supportive and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and improving step by step. Learning English should be engaging, practical, and enjoyable, and I always try to make my lessons dynamic and meaningful for every student.
