Alisha Maqsood

Dear Sir or Madam,
Passionate about the English language and about sharing knowledge, I am writing to apply for the position of English Teacher at your school. I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and have completed the first semester of a Master's in the same field. I would now like to put my experience and energy at the service of your students.
From 2022 to 2024, I taught English and provided academic support to students from primary to high school. I planned and delivered lessons in grammar, literature and academic writing, adapting my materials to each student's level. I also supported students individually, designed tailored exercises, and marked homework and exams to track their progress closely.
Since then, I have broadened my profile through educational and digital content creation. I have written educational articles and learning resources, published the book The Crypto Classroom: Edition 2026, and produced educational videos. These experiences taught me how to make content clear, lively and accessible, and how to use digital tools to keep learners engaged.
As a regional champion in English speech and debate, I am a confident speaker who knows how to hold a group's attention. Organised, caring and adaptable, I enjoy creating a classroom that is both demanding and motivating, where every student can build confidence and make progress.
Joining your school would give me the opportunity to commit fully to an educational project and to contribute to your students' success. I would be delighted to meet you to discuss my motivation and skills in more detail.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Alisha Maqsood
