Hello!
My approach to teaching focuses on speaking rather than grammar, on figuring things out as opposed to shoving theory and exercises down a student's throat. I believe that communicating first as well as surrounding oneself with the language leads to fluency. That is not to say that there is not order in class or that the courses are lacking in structure.

The beginning of each lesson will start with a short testing period, so I can get the gist of the student's level of English. This testing can be done either in a written format or online via a call or video conference. Then, based on the analysis I will prepare the lessons. I structure my courses based on either grammar points or vocabulary points, using the PPP or skills-based structures. The courses presented will be interactive all the way through, in order to maximize the student's talking time.

If need be, I can focus on specific areas of interest and provide feedback throughout, at all times.
To note is that my lessons will be a 90% English environment so that the students get used to the language and start using it as well. I do provide instructions for A1-A2 users in their first language or simplify my speech patterns according to the needs of the student.
