Hello!
I'm Gosia :) I teach English and Russian to adults and teenagers. I studied applied linguistics at Kazimierz Wielki University in Poland. I did part of my studies in Zagreb, Croatia, Vilnius, Lithuania, and my internship at the International Office of Adnan Menderes University in Aydin, Turkey. Polish is my mother language. Despite this, I speak English, Russian, and a little Turkish.
I truly believe that languages broaden our horizons.
I aim to help my students to break their language barrier and stop being afraid of speaking or making mistakes. You need to make them to learn a language!
Also, I know that every student is different and needs a different approach that's why during my lessons we use a variety of different materials. I don't want to bore you (and myself;) with only book learning. I want to make the most and the best of our time together!

I've taught a lot of students of different ages and levels. I've learned that there isn't any universal method for all students to learn a foreign language. In my lessons, we use many different materials (videos, movies, articles, study books or worksheets, games), and we discuss even more different topics (daily life, work, hobbies, controversial topics, culture, breaking news, and things students are interested in).
Total immersion is needed because I don't speak French.
At all :)
I want my lessons to be dynamic so we don't get bored together but involved :)
Usually, there is a warm-up exercise or conversation, revision, a new topic is introduced and practiced or discussed. There's a summary and very often something to do at home. I send the material in advance to download it and print it or share my screen. I'd like my students to gain confidence, and not to be afraid of speaking and communicating freely with other people in their daily life and at the workplace. Let's overcome that fear. It's important to me to create a friendly atmosphere and bond with my students, because I believe it has a huge impact on the whole learning process. I want them to remember that it's quality time, a fantastic investment, so let's not waste our time and money. The most convincing factor to me when learning a foreign language has always been the quote 'The limits of my language mean the limits of my world'. I know it's true and it really changes the whole perspective. That's why it's so importnat you start learning today.
