I bring a teaching background shaped by both early childhood and higher education. I was trained in Montessori education, where I worked with learners from toddler to Grade 1, supporting independence, curiosity, and early language development. I also contributed to curriculum planning and the design of learning materials, making sure lessons remain structured but engaging, and responsive to different learning styles.
At the university level, I have designed and taught courses in English language and literature, including semantics, technical writing, and literary studies. This range allows me to adjust my teaching depending on the learner’s age, level, and goals, whether they are beginners or more advanced students working on academic skills.
My lessons are student-centered and flexible. I focus on building understanding through guided practice, conversation, and real-life application. For younger learners, I use interactive and sensory-based activities. For older students, I emphasize clarity in writing, critical thinking, and confidence in expressing ideas.
I enjoy bringing storytelling and imagination into the learning process. I often draw from the arts, music, history, and culture, so lessons become spaces for exchange of ideas, perspectives, and stories, not just language practice.
Each session is shaped around the student’s goals, whether that means improving communication, strengthening academic writing, or deepening their understanding of texts. I provide clear and constructive feedback to help students track their progress.
Overall, I aim to create a learning space that is supportive, thoughtful, and open, where students feel comfortable exploring and improving at their own pace.
