Je n'ai peut-être pas beaucoup d'expérience dans l'enseignement, mais je suis sur qu'on pourra grandir ensemble.
English is a language—and a very spoken one (world wide). So, learning it is not only beneficial to your academic profile, but shall make your opportunities more numerous.
It's easy to learn English language when you do it the right way. During my lessons and in general, the key factors that will make the class interesting and that will consequently make you learn easily are:
Being active; it doesn't only mean responding to questions but asking questions too.
Practicing regularly; this is where most students fail. You beed to practise what you've learned per day by chatting with friends, relatives and colleagues, to really get acquainted with these new words.
Use your dictionary frequently; the tip i can give you all is to give yourself a challenge of learning a new English word daily, knowing it's pronunciation, and spelling will make your English more fluent.
"Master, do not memorise"; the more you about the general structure of something, it will be easy to build it up or understand it no matter the way it is twisted— that has been proven. So it will obviously be good if you try to understand "the why" of each new thing you learn. Why do we say a book, why not the book in particular cases? Such questions can only be answered by people who have gotten the underlying principles of English Language.
Lastly, i will say English is a language and it can be translated into other languages, and there are some things which when known in some other languages might be beneficial when learning a new one, so never hesitate to translate, and do that smartly not to encounter other worries.
