In my English courses for foreign learners, I follow a communicative and student-centered methodology. The main goal is to help students use English confidently in real-life situations rather than simply memorizing rules. Each lesson is structured around a clear objective, such as expressing opinions, describing past experiences, or understanding everyday conversations.
Lessons typically begin with a short warm-up activity to activate prior knowledge and introduce the topic. This is followed by the presentation of new language (vocabulary, grammar, or expressions) in context, often through dialogues, videos, or short texts. I then guide students through controlled practice activities to ensure understanding, before moving to more open, communicative tasks such as role-plays, discussions, or problem-solving activities.
Interaction is central to my teaching: students work individually, in pairs, and in groups to maximize speaking opportunities. I also integrate listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills in each lesson to create a balanced approach.
Finally, lessons end with feedback and reflection, allowing students to recognize their progress and areas for improvement. Homework and optional extension activities are provided to reinforce learning and encourage autonomy outside the classroom.
