I teach every tppic from scratch covering every prior knowlegde needed for understanding. I am interested in my students' procedural understanding of a concept rather than studying to pass. This way, my students can apply knowkedge gained in any problem solving situation including unfamiliar situations. The structure of my lessons is quick establishment of understanding then thorough extensive problem solving to cement understanding.
