Isis Gervais-Lambony

Hi! I’ve been teaching students of all levels for 5 years. I’m passionate about helping learners gain confidence and actually use English in real-life situations, especially when speaking.
Having grown up in South Africa and spent time in the United States, I’ve been immersed in English in very different cultural contexts. I also hold a Master’s degree in English Studies from Sorbonne Université, which has strengthened both my academic background and my understanding of language learning.


Teaching approach

I believe the best way to learn a language is to use it. My lessons are interactive, relaxed, and fully adapted to your personality and goals. Depending on what you enjoy, we can focus on role plays, everyday conversations, debates, short videos, or topics you’re genuinely interested in.
Grammar and vocabulary are never taught in isolation, we build them naturally through speaking and interaction.
My priority is to help you feel comfortable and confident in English, without pressure.


Possible en français?

Yes! I am fully bilingual in English and French.


Hobbies

I love reading (especially social sciences and essays), long walks with my dog, dancing, meeting new people, and going to concerts. I bring that same curiosity and energy into my lessons.
