Hello and bonjour to my future students,

I am a Native English speaker hailing from Iowa in the United States. My formal education is in general biology, and I am currently pursuing my passion for plant biology and sustainable agriculture in an MSc program with the Université Côte d'Azur. I would like to help you learn English communication by utilizing a few different strategies while also considering your goals within the language. We can start at whatever level you are at and work our way up from there. My strategies will include some basic vocabulary, spelling, and grammar practice, much like what you have likely experienced in school, as well as some "homework" assignments like watching a few of my favorite English comedy films/series or listening to some popular English music. We can discuss these "homework assignments" and go over any vocabulary that you found difficult during our meetings. I am new to teaching a language but have experience teaching complicated subjects in biology. There is no such thing as a dumb question. I am sure we will have a fun time and by the end you will feel confident in your English communication skills.
