I hold a Master of Science in Zoology with a specialization in Genetics and have over 4 years of experience as a college lecturer, teaching undergraduate students core subjects of biology, including Genetics, Molecular Biology, Developmental Biology, and Endocrinology. In addition, I have more than 10 years of experience in private tutoring, where I have taught English and Biology to middle school, high school, and baccalaureate-level students. I am a pedagogically strong teacher who knows how to engage and motivate students by providing clear and simple explanations, using relevant real-life examples, and incorporating visual aids and well-structured presentations (PPTs) to make learning effective and interesting. I also include dedicated doubt-clearing sessions and conduct assessments after each chapter to help students track their progress and evaluate their learning journey. I have over 10 years of teaching experience, which includes a decade of home tutoring in English and Basic Science for middle and high school students, as well as 4 years of college-level teaching in Biology. I have taught foundational subjects such as Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, etc. Genetics is my specialization. I truly enjoy teaching. This combination of long-term private tutoring and higher education experience allows me to simplify complex concepts effectively for students at any level. My teaching style is lucid and engaging, with clear explanations supported by real-life examples. I use well-structured PowerPoint presentations, visual aids, diagrams, and group activities to make complex concepts easier to understand and memorable. My first and foremost goal is to ignite curiosity and interest in the subject, so that students feel comfortable with the concepts and gradually gain confidence as we move through each topic. Classes are held three times a week, each lasting two hours. In the first two classes, I focus on teaching new material, while the third class is dedicated entirely to doubt discussion. Students have the opportunity to ask questions not only during these discussions but also at the end of every class. To help students stay updated and reinforce learning, a short quiz will be conducted at the end of each teaching session. I aim to create a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel confident exploring the subject, clarifying doubts, and developing a deeper understanding of Biology.
