If you wish to learn from a spanish native, he is the apt choice, speak to him for some time and you would realize yourself! Eileen Hurley Llevo más de un año hablando con Rubén. Empecé con casi nada de español y ahora puedo mantener una conversación de cualquier tema. Rubén es muy paciente y sobretodo es muy divertido. Recomiendo dar una clase con él! Do it! Daniel Barone Rubén is an incredible teacher. He is a patient listener who inspires you to improve. He does not just correct you but explains the grammar or the usage completely. He intersperses so much about the culture of Spain while explaining a phrase or something about everyday life in Spain. He is well-versed in the history of Spain and knows much about its different regions. Above all he is humorous, engaging and makes learning fun. You won´t find a better instructor. I've been having conversation lessons with Rubén for a few months now and I think he's great! I find our lessons really useful for practicing speaking as he provides helpful phrases and examples of when and why to use certain tenses. Rubén is full of energy and patience! I've really felt my spanish (and confidence in speaking) improve over the last few months.
