Description des cours

I'm a fully certified and very experienced professional wo has taught in Hungary and Great Britain for 20 years. As Head of Foreign Languages department in the UK, I developped my own teaching philosophy which is student centered and suited to all abilities. I am keen to adapt to your profile and requirements rather than impose a specific methodology as I think it would be counter-productive on the long term. I'm also an experienced online practitioner. I have been a Lingoda tutor for 2 years and now I train corporate clients from international companies up to C2 level, which includes preparation for the DELF and DALF exams. More specifically, I like to work on understanding the language structures rather than focusing on basic rote learning, so that students can rapidly grow in confidence and start using French in their daily life. Lastly, I insist on involving learners in the process and plan session with them, making sure that their needs are catered for. There is much more I would like to say but it would be tedious on here, so why not join me for a free taster session and discuss directly about how we could work together ? Cyril en quelques mots

Hi, I am a FLE teacher with certifications from both France and Great Britain, I I also have a BA in Philosophy which means I use very different approaches to teaching my mother tongue. Although I have a very structured and tested corpus of resources, I never hesitate to improvise if it means I can stick to your specific requirements on the day. Typically, a session will involve a bit of small chat at the start before delving into the target language. We would focus on understanding rather than simply learning, with the aim to be able to recycle the newly learnt contents in everyday situations. Of course, online sessions can be intense and draining so I always make sure you have a couple of minutes here and there to relax a bit and make sure all your questions are fully answered. French is a difficult language and it can be awkward at times, so I put a strong emphasis on reinforcing your confidence but also your curiosity so that the sessions are both effective and thoroughly enjoyable. A bientôt !
