Student Job - English Teacher - No experience at Voscours

In 2018 I graduated from an English & Creative Writing BA Hons Degree at Falmouth University (UK). My chosen focus areas were Travel Writing and Business & Editorial Writing. Since graduating I have worked for a UK-based Children's Clothing Company called 'Frugi'. Here, I worked as a Marketing and PR Assistant before being promoted to Marketing Content Coordinator; my responsibilities involved leading the creation of all blog content, copywriting, and producing all printed marketing resources. In 2022 I left the company to pursue some travel interests which took me to Spain, New Zealand and France and I was reminded of my love for learning about different cultures and new languages. In France I worked in a B&B in Provence Once back in the UK I worked an Administration role for Trading Standards South West (a Community Interest Company (CIC) working in the South West Region of the UK). Here I assisted with copywriting tasks, attending meetings and taking notes, and enrolling students onto a number of online courses created by TSSW and other leading Standards organisations. Additionally, I lead the creation of a campaign to share information regarding Student Scams. In August 2023 I left TSSW to pursue my French Studies at Avignon University where I am learning at A2 level. Alongside these studies, I am working to obtain a Teaching English As A Foreign Language Certification (TEFL).
