Dear Recruitment Team, I am writing to express my interest in joining your team as an English Language Teacher or Trainer. My name is Fatemeh Hosseini Abajalou, and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Human Rights and Diplomacy at Université Catholique de Lyon. Before moving to France, I worked as an English language instructor at AVATalk Language Institute in Iran for five years, and teaching is something I genuinely love and hope to continue alongside my studies. During those five years, I taught teenagers and adults at different proficiency levels, working with individual students, small groups, and larger classes, both online and in person. I was responsible for planning lessons, preparing teaching materials, explaining grammar and vocabulary, developing students' communication skills, and regularly assessing their progress. One of the things I particularly enjoyed was adapting my lessons to the people I was teaching. I've always believed that students learn best when they feel comfortable enough to ask questions, make mistakes, and participate without worrying about being judged. Some students need more structure and guidance, while others learn better through conversation and practical activities. Finding what works for each person has always been one of my favorite parts of teaching. Throughout my experience, I also worked with different teaching methods, including flipped-classroom activities, interactive exercises, and regular formative assessments. I tried to make my lessons engaging and practical while ensuring that students were making meaningful progress. I hold a TOEFL iBT score of 100/120, and I speak several languages myself. Being a language learner has also shaped the way I teach, because I understand how frustrating it can sometimes be to know what you want to say but struggle to find the words. Although I am now continuing my education in Human Rights and Diplomacy, I would really love to remain involved in teaching. I enjoy working with people, sharing what I know, and helping students become more confident in their abilities.
