Tutrice IELTS certifié Cambridge, MA Language Acquisition TEFL (UIC Barcelone), 7 ans d'expérience

Hello everyone, My name is Anna and I'm a Cambridge-certified English teacher and IELTS tutor. I teach General English and Business English, and I prepare learners for the IELTS test. My students are studying and working all over the world now! I hold a Master's Degree in Language Acquisition and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (UIC Barcelona). In 2021, I obtained a Cambridge certification in teaching English to adults (CELTA) and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I have been teaching English and preparing students for IELTS for over 8 years now. In my lessons, I use communicative and lexical approaches. As a professional, I am constantly improving: I never stop studying myself; I attend conferences, seminars, lectures; I read methodological literature, so I am always in the know about the latest tendencies in the ESL field! I have done a variety of IELTS preparation courses myself to be aware of all the changes in the test. I've also been studying with IELTS examiners in order to fully understand the assessment process and help my students with the interpretation of the criteria. My students say that they like the lessons because they are well-structured, logical, and consistent. They like the fact that I use authentic materials, which gives them an opportunity to learn English as it is spoken and practice their listening skills. The positive atmosphere of the lessons makes the learning experience even more productive! If you want to prepare for the IELTS exam, I will explain the procedure of the test in detail, how it is assessed, the criteria, but most importantly, you will get plenty of practice. We will focus on Writing and Speaking, as these parts of the IELTS test are usually the most difficult for students to master. There is a possibility to run a MOCK exam, where you will get an opportunity to practice in conditions similar to the IELTS test. Once you have completed the tasks, you will get detailed feedback, your provisionary score, and recommendations on how to improve it. To start practising (and make a step towards changing your life!:), book a lesson with me. I hope to see you in our first lesson! Anna
