My teaching method is built around real communication and practical use of the English language. While grammar and writing are important, I believe the best way to truly learn English is by using it—through speaking and listening in real-life situations. In my classes, we will focus heavily on conversation and understanding spoken English. Whether it’s online or in-person (in Montpellier or nearby), every lesson will include practical discussions based on everyday topics such as travel, work, culture, and current events. This helps students build the confidence to speak naturally and fluently. Grammar will be taught in a clear and simple way, always connected to real examples. After each grammar stage, students will take a short vocabulary pop quiz to reinforce learning and make sure they’re building a strong foundation. Watching anime, movies, or short films in English is a fun and powerful way to improve listening skills and comprehension. It exposes learners to natural speech, different accents, and everyday expressions in real contexts. In my lessons, we’ll sometimes use short clips to practice understanding tone, vocabulary, and real-life dialogue. We’ll also practice listening to different accents—from American to British and more—so students can understand a wide range of speakers. I’ll guide them through how to adjust their own pronunciation as well. Writing exercises will support what we learn in speaking and grammar, helping students organize their thoughts and improve clarity. My lessons are interactive, supportive, and tailored to each student’s level and goals. With years of real-life experience using English in international environments and living in different countries, I bring practical insights that go beyond textbooks.
