Student Job CV_Gilbert Chigozie Okeke Nice

Dear Hiring Manager, I am writing to express my interest in the biology teaching position at your school. With over seven years of teaching experience, combined with my ongoing Master’s studies in Biocontrol Solutions for Plant Health at Université Côte d'Azur, I am confident that my background and passion for biology education will contribute positively to your institution. In my previous role as an Agricultural Science Teacher in Nigeria, I developed and delivered engaging lessons, tailored to meet the diverse needs of students. I effectively managed classrooms, produced educational materials, and fostered an environment of active learning. My experience as a lecturer at Ahmadu Bello University, where I taught Biometrical Genetics and supervised student projects, further strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable way. Having relocated to Nice for my Master’s degree, I am now eager to continue my teaching career and share my expertise in plant sciences and biology. I believe my diverse agricultural experience, combined with a strong foundation in experimental design and environmental studies, positions me as a well-rounded candidate for this role. I am fluent in English, and while my French is at a beginner’s level, I am committed to improving it to better connect with both students and colleagues. I thrive in collaborative environments and am always enthusiastic about finding new ways to inspire students to appreciate the wonders of biology. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my background, skills, and academic experience can benefit your school. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of contributing to your academic team. Sincerely, Gilbert Chigozie Okeke
