My name is Kseniya – I’m a professional linguist and translator, and I’ve been teaching English for five years now.

Description des cours

I teach speaking and general English for levels A2–B2. If you’ve been thinking about improving your English, I’d be delighted to have you as one of my students! I teach my students the spoken language. I use modern textbooks and supplement them with authentic materials. I also give my students access to an online whiteboard and homework assignments. I help you overcome your fear of ‘speaking’ English I approach the learning process by setting goals with the student. Just learning a language for the sake of it is not the way we work.

Kseniya en quelques mots

I’ve been teaching for about four years now; most of my students speak Russian and want to improve their spoken English. I use a lexical and communicative approach to teaching to help students achieve results more quickly and get them speaking. In my lessons, I use textbooks published by Pearson and Cambridge, and supplement them with authentic materials, so trust me you will never feel bored. All my students have access to the materials and the online board where the lessons are posted. I also set individual assignments for each student, tailoring them to their strengths and weaknesses. And finally, the main rule of my lessons is that you do 80% of the speaking and I do only 20%. I believe that’s the best way to practise speaking.
