Description des cours

Hi, my name is Ms. Mia! I have over 7 years of tutoring experience with students of all ages and abilities and across a range of subjects, including Anatomy/Physiology, Biology, ESL, Executive Functioning (study and organization skills), Psychology and Math. Informed by my background in neuroscience and pedagogy, my teaching philosophy centers on making learning engaging, interactive and inclusive; I believe that education should be fun and tailored to each student's unique needs. I therefore create a personalized learning plan based on your needs, goals, and learning preferences; I also take notes on student progress, to ensure we are on track to meet your goals. I thrive on adapting my lessons with visuals and gamified tasks to promote understanding and retention. I meet students where they are in their learning while challenging them to become independent learners, supporting them along the way. I aim to spark excitement and curiosity in my students so they continue their learning journey for years to come.
