Fluent English speaker with experience teaching English as a second language now living in Toulouse

Previous to becoming a sport coach and and English tutor in Hong Kong I was a professional athlete playing for the Hong Kong national rugby 7's team. I have access to a range of skills in positive coaching and goal setting, that I have personally tested and had great success with. I have over 5 years experience working with non-native english speaking children and adults in coaching settings and within the English Schools Foundation in Hong Kong.

My methodology is based on tailor-making classes to my students needs whilst developing English proficiency in an engaging, structured environment. My philosophy is based off of the belief that language is learnt faster when lessons are fun and engaging.

Outside of teaching I am a passionate traveller and explorer who has worked in over 3 countries around the Middle East and Asia as a guide in the tourism industry. I have fantastic interpersonal skills and love to meet people from all different backgrounds, I'm very passionate about making people feel comfortable and enjoy meaningful conversations that help build understanding and familiarity between strangers. Additionally, I have also worked with a range of people from a large number of countries, and have had no problems navigating language barriers.
