Hello everyone! I am Bora, a linguist and educator with 20+ years of experience under my belt. Above all, I love teaching those who want to learn! I teach without pressure, only invoking our natural instinct to communicate clearly with one another, sharing both wisdom and jokes! My forte is conversational English, but I can work around any English skills you wish to master. I seek to accommodate open conversation about topics of interest to learners, with special consideration about the diversity of learners and the variety of individual learning styles, which is guaranteed to yield fluent speakers in a short time. Language is power, and English is powerful and necessary now more than ever. So, if you want to become fluent organically, I’m your girl. Let’s get ready to rumble!

Bora en quelques mots

A natural-born teacher by nature and occupation, my lesson is a warm and lively conversation focused around the learner's interests (primarily content-based learning). Having taught all ages, I shape my teaching after each individual when teaching 101, and after teams when teaching groups. In general, I encourage learning partnerships and team projects, because they instill the spirit of togetherness that ensures productive experiential learning. Fun is another extremely effective tool I include in a lesson, adding a light touch to the learning process that easily translates into natural acquisition of words and concepts. I make sure to inquire what piques learners' interests, and I seamlessly weave this information into the class process.

I see teaching not as instruction as much as a two-way path to sharing knowledge. I love sharing what I have learned, and I love learning from others. It's the best humans can do.
