Hello! I am Sophia. I have 5 years of experience teaching English to young children, teens and adults. My lessons follow a structured yet flexible approach, adapted to each student's level, goals, and learning style. Lessons are conducted entirely in English to maximise immersion, but always in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere. Every one-hour session is organised into four clear stages: 1. Warm-Up & Review — we start with a casual chat in English and revisit key points from the previous lesson to reinforce what you've learned. 2. Input & Discovery — we explore real-world content such as videos, articles, or everyday scenarios to build vocabulary and comprehension naturally. 3. Practice & Interaction — through conversation, role-plays, and targeted exercises, you actively apply what you've learned in a meaningful and immersive way. 4. Language Focus & Wrap-Up — we zoom in on any grammar or pronunciation points that came up during the lesson, and I set a small task to keep the momentum going until next time. Many of my students come to me feeling stuck or too afraid to speak. my goal is to turn that block into confidence, one lesson at a time. Progress looks different for everyone, and that is completely okay! Some students need a few sessions to find their voice, others surprise themselves from day one.
