Hello! Bonjour! Guten Tag! My name is Yvanka and I'm a language teacher and polyglot. A native English speaker, I'm also fluent in French , German and Spanish and have dabbled in a few other languages. I hold several language certifications (DALF C2 , Goethe Zertifikat B2). My love for languages and travelling led me to France and I began teaching in Alsace. I later moved back home and worked briefly as a translator before being drawn back to teaching. I offer classes in French and German. My focus is on student led learning and I adapt the teaching process based on the student's needs and learning goals while also keeping in mind the CEFR guidelines. I'm an absolute bookworm and when I'm not teaching languages, I can be found curled up with a book! I also love writing and enjoy spending time working on my latest tales in English and French. I've published a couple of novels and novellas in English and one novella in French. I'm passionate about languages and teaching. I truly believe that learning a new language is a lot like setting off on a grand adventure as you never quite know where it will take you! Over the past years, I've taught over 500 students from more than seven countries. My focus is on student-led learning and I adapt the teaching process based on the students' needs and learning goals. In this course you can start English, French or German without the stress.
