Stop Studying English, Start Engineering It: High-Fidelity Coaching by a Native Londoner

Who I Am & My Experience I am a Trinity CertTESOL qualified English Language Teacher and Training Specialist with over 10 years of experience helping more than 2,000 students achieve their goals. My background is unique: I combine 15 years of IT systems expertise with years of professional mental health training. This allows me to bring a rare combination of structured, logical problem-solving and deep empathy to my teaching. I specialize in high-stakes exam preparation (IELTS and Cambridge) and Business English for corporate professionals. The Lesson Format My lessons are 100% online, delivered via high-quality video conferencing tools. I utilize a blended learning approach, meaning you don't just get a conversation—you get a digital ecosystem of resources. We use interactive whiteboards, shared documents for real-time writing feedback, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track your progress and store lesson materials. Lesson Dynamics: How I Teach I don’t believe in "one size fits all" textbooks. My methodology is results-oriented and problem-solving focused: The Diagnostic Phase: We start by identifying the specific "blockers" in your English—whether it's a lack of vocabulary, pronunciation issues, or exam anxiety. Active Participation: You will do 70% of the talking. I act as a coach, providing "live" corrections and helping you refine your thoughts into professional, natural English. Structured Logic: Using my IT background, I break down complex grammar and exam strategies into easy-to-follow algorithms. Confidence Building: Drawing on my mental health training, I help you overcome "imposter syndrome" and the fear of making mistakes, which is often the biggest hurdle to fluency. Content Focus Exam Prep (IELTS/Cambridge): We master the "logic" of the test, focusing on the specific criteria examiners look for to ensure you reach that 95% success bracket. Business English: We simulate real-world scenarios—negotiations, presentations, and high-stakes interviews—using the vocabulary of your specific industry (Finance, Tech, etc.). Academic Writing: I support Master’s and PhD candidates in refining their thesis language and presentation style. I am committed to your results. My goal is to transform your English from a source of stress into your greatest professional asset.
