My classes are usually organized in small groups of around 4 to 5 students—ideally of similar age—to create a comfortable and collaborative learning environment. Lessons are designed based on the group’s shared goals, whether it's preparing for exams or improving communication skills.
I strive to keep the atmosphere fun and encouraging, where students feel confident to speak English freely. I incorporate interactive activities such as role-plays, games, storytelling, and debates to help students use English in real-life situations. We also watch short videos or listen to songs and podcasts, followed by discussions or vocabulary games to reinforce language skills in a dynamic way.
In addition, I often include informal learning moments—like having meals together or going for walks—where students are encouraged to continue practicing English in a relaxed and natural setting. This helps build confidence, fluency, and a genuine connection with the language beyond the classroom.
Besides regular homework such as exercises from textbooks, students are also encouraged to observe their surroundings and think in English rather than in their native language. This practice helps develop the habit of thinking in English, which is essential for building fluency and long-term language retention.
