Hi, I’m Lianne — and biology isn’t just my field, it’s my passion and purpose! As a PhD researcher in cancer biology, I dive deep into the fascinating world of cells, genes, and molecular mysteries. But science doesn’t belong in a lab alone — it thrives when shared. That’s why I bring biology to life through clear, engaging communication that sparks curiosity and builds confidence. Studying life sciences doesn’t just teach you about the living world — it sharpens critical thinking, strengthens problem-solving, nurtures data literacy, and builds resilience through experimentation and inquiry. My mission is to inspire students to explore the incredible science within and around them, while developing powerful skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

My approach is quite simple! Students are guided through interactive discussions, using a variety of resources to explain cellular processes and how our understanding has evolved through the years. Depending on the level of the student, my resources and level of teaching are adaptable, from middle school up to graduate school (Master's level). Lessons are enriched with recent advancements in various fields of the life sciences and grounded in peer-reviewed, science-backed research.
