My lessons are relaxed and practical. I design a curriculum for each student based on their level, goals, and schedule — nothing is generic. We talk, we work, and we make real progress, but the atmosphere is easy and there is no pressure. Students feel comfortable making mistakes, which is how learning actually happens — and sometimes we laugh about them too, which helps. For general ESL learners, we cover grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, and writing using real-life materials and everyday conversation. For professionals, the focus shifts to workplace communication — emails, reports, meetings, presentations, and industry-specific vocabulary. I use a communicative approach, which means we spend more time actually using the language than sitting through grammar lectures. I have been told my lessons do not feel like lessons.
