Prof de droit, spécialisé en droit international d'affaires

My first job was as a professor of classical literature at a university in New YorkCity. I was not sure it was what I wanted long-term, so I spent some time in a marketing situation, during which I learned I was supposed to be a lawyer. That sent me off on a 35 year career in law, ending up as an administrative judge. So, all in all, I spent my time reading, writing, speaking and hearing English and other languages. When I chose to retire, I found it pretty boring, and I came back to teaching English a few years ago. This activity calls on all my earlier education and work, and it feels like the absolute best combination, when I can develop student/teacher relationships and unlock the potential of my students.
