I've been teaching French and Spanish since 2010. I hold a Master's degree in French as a Foreign Language from the University of Montpellier 3, as well as the DAEFLE (Diplôme d'Aptitude de l'Enseignement du Français Langue Étrangère).

I'm passionate about educational innovation, and I always try to apply new learning methods by staying regularly informed about the latest research in didactics.

I create my own lessons based on authentic materials, integrating them into my courses in line with CEFR levels. I also encourage the practice of French and Spanish outside of lessons, through mobile apps as well as communication by email, text messages, and so on. Warm, patient, and enthusiastic, I adapt easily to any situation. As a teacher, my goal is to pass on my enthusiasm for the language to my students, as well as to help them develop (inter)cultural competence through authentic materials.

My teaching method is based on text comprehension, from which grammar rules and vocabulary naturally emerge. Each session includes a phonetics and sound-spelling component — that is, learning to recognize how a sound is written from listening to it — as well as a production component, meaning oral or written expression. My lessons follow a task-based approach, where rules are discovered through fun, hands-on activities. I also make frequent use of games in class to help retain vocabulary, along with role-plays to place learners in situations as close to real life as possible.
