Commencez par ces deux petits exercices.

It is easier to understand and remember the meaning of a word if you use it in a sentence. When you add a word to your list of vocabulary, don’t just put the definition with it, but an example of how to use it.  

Exercise 1

Complete each sentence with the opposite of the word on brackets.

Choose from one of the following words. Use each word once only

clean                     light                 open                    small                    cold                    low

poor                      tall                   easy                    loud                      right                   thin

good                     old                   slow                    wet

He’s very ___ at his job. (Bad)

They live in a ___ house in the country. (Big)

That’s the ___ answer to the question. (Wrong)
